Beatriz Huélamo

Beatriz Huélamo is a videographer, photographer and musician who graduated in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) and Università di Bologna (Italy).
She has been passionate about photography from an early age, and after working for many years as a corporate videographer in Düsseldorf (Germany), her work now encompasses various fields including film, documentary, photojournalism, video editing, event documentation as well as educational videos.
She has worked for NGOs such as the German Red Cross, Futuro Sí and Fundación Bolivia Digna, exploring issues that range from supporting women and children from deprived areas of Latin America to the digitalization of nurseries and nursing homes in Europe.
As an inveterate traveler, she has accumulated a large portfolio of portraits taken of subjects she has met over many years, as well as filmed a documentary about the Dongi people, an ethnic group in Indonesia facing the loss of their ancestral lands.
Beatriz's emphasis is on conveying an authentic impression of the people and situations she encounters. She enjoys spontaneity, telling stories and capturing the moment and the soul of things, while always looking forward to empowering good causes through her work.
